Turkey Meatballs with Cranberry Glaze

Ingredients

For the meatballs:

  • 1 lb ground turkey

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/3 cup finely chopped fresh parsley

  • 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs

  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 large egg

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for skillet)

For the cranberry glaze:

  • 1 cup whole berry cranberry sauce

  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)

Directions

  1. Mix the meatballs: In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, Parmesan, parsley, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix just until combined.

  2. Form the meatballs: Roll into 1½-inch balls using about 1½ tablespoons of mixture per meatball. You should get around 18 meatballs.

  3. Preheat the skillet: Set your bella Make & Take Electric Skillet to 350°F. Add olive oil and let it heat for a minute.

  4. Cook the meatballs: Place meatballs in the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 10–12 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through.

  5. Make the glaze: In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, stir together cranberry sauce, balsamic vinegar, honey, and cinnamon. Simmer for 5 minutes until warm and slightly thickened.

  6. Glaze and finish: Return all meatballs to the skillet if working in batches. Pour the glaze over and gently toss to coat. Simmer for 2 minutes more to bring flavors together.

  7. Serve: Garnish with extra parsley or carrot greens. Serve warm with toothpicks or over mashed potatoes or rice.
