Make & Take Electric Skillet
Ingredients
For the meatballs:
1 lb ground turkey
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/3 cup finely chopped fresh parsley
1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 large egg
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil (for skillet)
For the cranberry glaze:
1 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp honey
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
Directions
Mix the meatballs: In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, Parmesan, parsley, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix just until combined.
Form the meatballs: Roll into 1½-inch balls using about 1½ tablespoons of mixture per meatball. You should get around 18 meatballs.
Preheat the skillet: Set your bella Make & Take Electric Skillet to 350°F. Add olive oil and let it heat for a minute.
Cook the meatballs: Place meatballs in the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 10–12 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through.
Make the glaze: In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, stir together cranberry sauce, balsamic vinegar, honey, and cinnamon. Simmer for 5 minutes until warm and slightly thickened.
Glaze and finish: Return all meatballs to the skillet if working in batches. Pour the glaze over and gently toss to coat. Simmer for 2 minutes more to bring flavors together.
Serve: Garnish with extra parsley or carrot greens. Serve warm with toothpicks or over mashed potatoes or rice.
