Ingredients
For the Dough:
1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
For the Filling:
1/2 cup marinara sauce (plus more for dipping)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
20-25 slices pepperoni
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Optional: sliced olives, sautéed mushrooms, or spinach
For the Topping:
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
1 tablespoon sesame seeds or Italian seasoning for sprinkling (optional)
Directions
1. Preheat Your Oven
For the bella Air Fryer Toaster Oven: Preheat to 375°F (190°C) on the bake setting.
For the PRO Blaze Pizza Oven: Preheat to 650°F (343°C) (recommended for quick cooking).
For the PRO DoubleUp Oven: Preheat to 400°F (200°C) on the bake setting.
2. Prepare the Dough
Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a large rectangle (approximately 10x14 inches).
Spread the marinara sauce evenly, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
3. Add the Filling
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the marinara sauce.
Layer the pepperoni slices evenly over the cheese.
Add any additional toppings like olives, mushrooms, or spinach, if desired.
Sprinkle with garlic powder and Italian seasoning for extra flavor.
4. Roll and Seal
Starting at the long edge, roll the dough tightly into a log.
Pinch the seam and ends to seal the stromboli completely.
Place seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet or pizza stone.
5. Add the Egg Wash
Brush the stromboli with the beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds or Italian seasoning for a golden, flavorful crust.
6. Bake the Stromboli
In the bella Air Fryer Toaster Oven: Bake at 375°F for 15-18 minutes, until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
In the PRO Blaze Pizza Oven: Bake at 650°F for 5-7 minutes, rotating once for even cooking.
In the PRO DoubleUp Oven: Bake at 400°F for 20-22 minutes, until golden brown and crisp.
7. Cool and Slice
Allow the stromboli to cool for 5 minutes before slicing into 2-inch pieces. Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
