Sensio Voluntary Safety Recall Program for Steam Espresso Machines
Important Information for Customers
Sensio, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), has initiated a voluntary safety recall of the following products:
• Bella Pro Series Steam Espresso Maker (Model 90195)

• Cooks Steam Espresso Maker (Model 22395)

The brew cup handle can forcefully eject during use, shattering the glass carafe and posing a burn and laceration hazard. Sensio has received 18 reports of the handles ejecting, eight of which reported burn and/or laceration hazards. The units were sold between August 2023 and January 2025. As of March 17, 2025, Sensio has discontinued the sale of this product.
If you own one of the affected units, we are offering a one-time refund of $50, available as either:
• A $50 check, or
• A $50 e-gift card from the retailer where the product was purchased (Best Buy or JC Penney).
To obtain your refund, please follow these steps:
1. Verify That Your Product is a Recalled Espresso Machine
• Check the model number located on a sticker under your machine. The model number is identified as the “Item” number. These are the two recalled model numbers:
• 90195
• 22395
• If your model matches one of the recalled units, proceed with the next steps.
2. Gather the Required Proof for Your Refund
• UL Label Destruction: Find and damage the UL certification label located under the unit using a pen.
• Product Disposal & Cord Cut: Carefully cut the power cord as close to the machine as possible. Dispose of the machine responsibly in accordance with local guidelines.
3. Submit Your Refund Request
