PRO Blaze Pizza Oven+
Ingredients
For the dough:
2 ¼ teaspoons (1 packet) active dry yeast
¾ cup warm water (about 110°F)
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon olive oil
For the toppings:
½ cup pizza sauce or crushed San Marzano tomatoes
8 oz fresh mozzarella, torn into pieces
½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved
Fresh basil leaves (about 10–12 leaves)
1 tablespoon olive oil (for drizzling)
Pinch of sea salt
Directions
Prepare the Dough In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water and let it sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy. In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms. Knead on a floured surface for 6–8 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Preheat the bella PRO Blaze Pizza Oven+ Preheat your Blaze Pizza Oven+ to 700°F (this oven reaches optimal pizza baking temps in minutes). Use the pizza stone for best results.
Shape the Dough Once risen, punch down the dough and roll it out on a floured surface to about 12 inches in diameter. Transfer to a floured pizza peel or parchment-lined tray for easy transfer.
Add the Toppings Spread pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a ½-inch border. Scatter torn mozzarella evenly across the pizza. Add halved cherry tomatoes and a pinch of sea salt.
Bake the Pizza Slide the pizza into the preheated Blaze Pizza Oven+ using the peel. Bake for 3–5 minutes, rotating once halfway through, until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbling.
Finish and Serve Remove the pizza and top with fresh basil leaves and a light drizzle of olive oil. Slice and serve hot!
