Frozen Classic Lime Margarita

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup (2 oz) tequila (silver/blanco is preferred)

  • 2 tablespoons (1 oz) triple sec or orange liqueur

  • 2 tablespoons (1 oz) freshly squeezed lime juice

  • 1 tablespoon simple syrup (adjust for sweetness)

  • 1 1/2 cups ice cubes

  • Lime zest and lime slices, for garnish (optional)

  • Coarse salt for rimming the glass (optional)

Directions

1. Prepare the Glasses (Optional)

  1. If you’d like a salted rim, run a lime wedge around the edge of each glass.

  2. Dip the rims into a small plate of coarse salt. Set aside.

2. Add Ingredients to the Blender

  1. In the blender, add the tequila, triple sec, lime juice, simple syrup, and ice cubes.

  2. Secure the lid tightly.

3. Blend to Perfection

  • Blend on high speed for 1-2 minutes, or until the mixture reaches a smooth, slushy consistency.

4. Serve

  1. Pour the frozen margarita into the prepared glasses.

  2. Garnish with lime zest and a slice of lime on the rim for a vibrant finish.
