Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves, packed

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • ⅓ cup pine nuts (or walnuts as an alternative)

  • 2 garlic cloves

  • ½ cup olive oil

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

  • Optional: squeeze of fresh lemon juice (for brightness)

Directions

  • Add ingredients to blender In the bella Rocket Blender Boost, add the basil, Parmesan, pine nuts, garlic, salt, and pepper.

  • Blend with olive oil Pour in the olive oil. Secure the lid and blend until smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides as needed for an even consistency.

  • Taste and adjust Add more salt, pepper, or lemon juice to taste. If you prefer a thinner pesto, blend in a touch more olive oil.

  • Serve or store Use immediately, or transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 5 days. Great for pastas, sandwiches, or as a dip.
