Classic Belgian Waffles with Butter and Syrup

Ingredients

  • 2 cups waffle batter (store-bought mix or homemade)

  • Butter for topping

  • Maple syrup or honey

  • Fresh blueberries (or your favorite fruits)

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 tablespoon sugar

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1 egg

  • 1 cup milk

  • 2 tablespoons melted butter or vegetable oil

Directions

  • Prepare Waffle Batter: Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. In another bowl, whisk together egg, milk, and melted butter or oil. Combine the wet and dry ingredients and stir until just mixed.

  • Preheat Waffle Maker: Turn on the bella Fold & Store Waffle Maker, and lightly grease with non-stick spray or butter.

  • Cook the Waffles: Pour waffle batter into the waffle maker, close the lid, and cook for about 3-4 minutes or until waffles are golden and crispy.

  • Serve with Butter and Syrup: Place waffles on a plate, top with a pat of butter, and drizzle with maple syrup or honey. Garnish with fresh blueberries or any fruits of choice.
