Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef flank steak or skirt steak, thinly sliced

  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced

  • 2 bell peppers (red and green), thinly sliced

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Juice of 1 lime

  • 1 tsp chili powder

  • 1 tsp ground cumin

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ¼ cup beef broth

  • Tortillas for serving

  • Optional toppings: Sour cream, guacamole, shredded cheese, salsa, or cilantro

Directions

Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients

  • Slice the beef, onion, and peppers into thin strips. Mince the garlic.

Step 2: Use the Searing Function

  • Set the Bella Pro 6qt Multi-Cooker to

    Sear/Sauté

    mode. Add the olive oil and let it heat for about 2 minutes.

  • Add the sliced beef to the pot and sear for 3–4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned. Remove the beef and set it aside.

Step 3: Sauté the Vegetables

  • In the same pot, add the onions, peppers, and garlic. Sauté for 2–3 minutes until slightly softened.

Step 4: Combine Ingredients

  • Return the seared beef to the pot and add the chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to coat the beef and vegetables evenly.

  • Pour in the lime juice and beef broth to deglaze the pot and prevent sticking.

Step 5: Cook

  • Slow Cook Option: Switch the cooker to

    Slow Cook (High)

    and cook for 2 hours.

  • Pressure Cook Option: Use the

    Pressure Cook

    setting, seal the lid, and cook on High for 15 minutes. Allow natural pressure release for 10 minutes before opening the lid.

Step 6: Serve

  • Warm tortillas in a separate pan or microwave.

  • Spoon the beef and vegetables onto the tortillas and add your favorite toppings. Serve immediately.
