Ingredients

  • 4 medium Yukon Gold or Russet potatoes

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

  • Optional: chopped fresh parsley, grated Parmesan, or chili flakes for garnish

Directions

  • Preheat the Air Fryer Preheat your BELLA 4QT Slim Air Fryer to 375°F for 3 minutes to ensure even cooking.

  • Prepare the Potatoes

    • Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly, then pat them dry.

    • Place each potato between two wooden spoons or chopsticks. Using a sharp knife, slice thin cuts into the potato about 1/8-inch apart, stopping just before you cut through the bottom. The spoons or chopsticks will help prevent slicing all the way through.

  • Season the Potatoes

    • In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.

    • Gently fan the potato slices apart and brush the olive oil mixture generously over and between the slices.

  • Air Fry the Potatoes

    • Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they don’t touch for proper airflow.

    • Cook at 375°F for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are crispy and golden and the centers are tender. Flip the potatoes halfway through cooking to ensure even browning.

  • Add the Butter

    • During the last 5 minutes of cooking, brush the tops of the potatoes with melted butter for extra flavor and crispiness.

  • Serve and Garnish

    • Remove the potatoes from the air fryer and garnish with fresh parsley, grated Parmesan, or chili flakes as desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
