Ingredients
4 medium Yukon Gold or Russet potatoes
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Optional: chopped fresh parsley, grated Parmesan, or chili flakes for garnish
Directions
Preheat the Air Fryer Preheat your BELLA 4QT Slim Air Fryer to 375°F for 3 minutes to ensure even cooking.
Prepare the Potatoes
Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly, then pat them dry.
Place each potato between two wooden spoons or chopsticks. Using a sharp knife, slice thin cuts into the potato about 1/8-inch apart, stopping just before you cut through the bottom. The spoons or chopsticks will help prevent slicing all the way through.
Season the Potatoes
In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Gently fan the potato slices apart and brush the olive oil mixture generously over and between the slices.
Air Fry the Potatoes
Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they don’t touch for proper airflow.
Cook at 375°F for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are crispy and golden and the centers are tender. Flip the potatoes halfway through cooking to ensure even browning.
Add the Butter
During the last 5 minutes of cooking, brush the tops of the potatoes with melted butter for extra flavor and crispiness.
Serve and Garnish
Remove the potatoes from the air fryer and garnish with fresh parsley, grated Parmesan, or chili flakes as desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
